Gino Arcilla is a first year medical student at the University of California, San Francisco. He took one gap year after attending the University of California, Berkeley ’17, majoring in Integrative Biology with a minor in Music. He was the previous Health Director for Program Impact at HGA and served as the President of the UC Berkeley HGA chapter. He was also a volunteer at the San Francisco VA Hospital Emergency Department, at a clinic delivering health screenings to low-income minority communities, and at a board and care for elderly patients with dementia. He is happy to answer questions regarding the medical school application process, how to succeed in college, the MCAT, essay application writing, interviews, and more.
